Controller input and output configuration
The Omron E5EC-TQX4A5M-019 is a 1/4 DIN process and temperature controller accepting RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus analog signals 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC. That covers nearly any industrial sensor you'd land on a panel — from a Type K in a kiln to a 4-20 mA pressure transmitter. Outputs are four relay contacts plus a voltage pulse for driving an external SSR. The relay set handles on/off or PID control loops, while the voltage output lets you switch a solid-state contactor for resistive heater loads without wearing out mechanical contacts. Supply is 100–240 VAC, so it drops straight into a standard panel control transformer without needing a separate 24 VDC power supply. The IP66-rated front bezel means the display and keypad survive washdown environments — suitable for food-and-bev or pharmaceutical panel faces where hose-down is routine.
