Six relay outputs for multi-zone or cascade control
The E5EC-TRR4A5M-010 packs six relay outputs in a single 92 mm x 45 mm panel cutout — enough for a heating/cooling pair plus four alarm or event relays without adding a slave controller. The relay bank handles discrete on/off or time-proportioned PID outputs, so a single part covers both the control loop and the supervisory annunciation.
Wide sensor input range covers most process signals
Accepts RTD and 13 thermocouple types (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W) spanning -200°C to 2300°C, plus 0-20 mA and 0-10 VDC process inputs — one controller for temperature or linear transducers. The tri-color LCD displays up to three process values simultaneously (4 characters per row), useful for showing PV, SV, and heater current or deviation.
Active production — no last-time-buy pressure
Sourced through independent distribution; availability and current pricing confirmed at RFQ against the BOM quantity.
IP66 front panel survives washdown environments
The IP66-rated front panel keeps washdown water and dust out of the enclosure when the gasket is seated against the panel cutout. Suitable for food-and-beverage or pharmaceutical lines where hose-down cleaning is routine. Screw-terminal connections simplify field wiring — no special crimp tooling or ferrule kits needed for the control cabinet.
Event input and heater fault detection built in
The event input can trigger a setpoint change, auto-tuning start, or alarm mask from an external dry contact — useful for recipe switching or interlocking with a safety circuit. Heater fault detection monitors current draw on the heater loop and flags a broken element or SSR short before the process drifts out of tolerance.
