The Omron E5EC-TRR4D5M-000 is a panel-mount process and temperature controller from the E5EC-T series, accepting RTD and thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W as well as 0–20 mA and 0–10 VDC analog inputs. Input range spans -200°C to 2300°C across the thermocouple types, plus the full mA and VDC spans — meaning this single unit covers everything from cryogenic RTD monitoring to high-temp furnace control without swapping modules. Control method is selectable between on/off and proportional (PID), so it fits simple limit alarms or closed-loop process tuning.
Outputs and display
Six relay outputs give you direct switching for heaters, contactors, or alarms — no external SSR needed for moderate loads. The tri-color LCD backlight shows three rows of four characters each (0.710", 0.433", and 0.307" character heights), letting you read PV, SV, and status simultaneously. Screw-terminal connections and a standard 92 mm x 45 mm rectangular panel cutout make replacement straightforward in existing panels.

Rated IP66 on the front panel — dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water — so it holds up on washdown lines or outdoor enclosures.
