Universal input, five-relay output bank
The Omron E5EC-TRX4A5M-000 is a panel-mount process and temperature controller that accepts RTD, thermocouple types B/E/J/K/L/N/PLII/R/S/T/U/W, plus 0-20mA and 0-10VDC analog signals — one unit covers the sensor mix on a typical line without stocking multiple input cards. Five relay outputs give you independent control loops or alarm/event channels: the first pair can drive a heater contactor and a cooling valve while the remaining three handle high/low alarms, heater break detection, or a secondary setpoint stage.
Panel fit and environmental sealing
The controller fits a standard 92mm x 45mm rectangular panel cutout and secures with screw terminals — no special tooling, no DIN-rail adapter needed. IP66 rating on the front bezel means it survives washdown spray and humid mill air; the screw-terminal back stays inside the enclosure, so the seal is at the panel face, not the wiring compartment.
