Five relay outputs vs the usual four
The E5EC-TRX4A5M-019 carries five relay outputs — one more than the common four-relay E5EC variants. That fifth relay is the difference between having a dedicated alarm output plus a heater break alarm and still keeping three control outputs (heat, cool, event) without daisy-chaining a slave relay module. Outputs are screw-terminal, so no special crimp tooling needed at the panel — just strip and torque to the terminal block rating.
Universal input, one panel cutout
Input range covers RTD, thermocouples (B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W), and process signals (0–20 mA, 0–10 VDC). That means one order code covers a machine that mixes thermocouple zones with 4–20 mA pressure transducers — no need to stock separate controller variants. Panel cutout is 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm — standard 1/4 DIN. Drops into existing holes without adapter plates. IP66 front panel rating holds when the gasket is seated against a clean, flat panel surface.
