The Box package means the unit ships as a complete set — emitter, receiver, cabling, and mounting hardware in one carton. No separate ordering of transmitter and receiver halves. On-site, this simplifies the swap: unbox, align the optical axes, power up, and verify the OSSD outputs cycle cleanly. The series designation (*) is a placeholder in the record, but in practice the F3SG-4RE family uses a standard 4-wire interface (two OSSD pairs, 24 VDC supply) that drops into most safety-rated PLC input cards or safety relay modules without adapter boards.
