Power is 24 VDC, standard for safety circuits across most PLC safety inputs.
Environmental sealing and mounting
Rated IP65, IP67, and IP67G — dust-tight, protected against temporary immersion, and oil-resistant. The IP67G suffix means it withstands washdown with oil-cutting detergents, common in food and automotive machining lines. Mounting brackets (sold separately) align the emitter and receiver; the 10 mm beam pitch means the effective resolution stays at 14 mm regardless of range — no derating curve to calculate.
Built-in blanking and muting
Blanking and muting functions are integrated — no external controller needed for fixed obstruction bypass or conveyor pass-through. Blanking lets you disable specific beams for a fixture or workpiece that must remain in the field; muting suspends the safety output during a defined material-handling cycle. Both are configured via the teach pendant or software, not hardwired. The Bulk package means the unit ships as a single emitter-receiver pair without a dedicated controller box; the safety outputs connect directly to a safety relay or safety PLC input.
