Integration notes
The F3SG-4SRA0440-85 ships in bulk packaging — no retail box, no mounting brackets in the carton. Plan for separate ordering of the emitter/receiver brackets and the control cable (typically the F3SG-4SRA-CC or similar). The 24 VDC supply must be a SELV/PELV source; the curtain draws its power from the receiver side, with the emitter powered through the synchronization cable. Blanking and muting functions are built in, which is a differentiator over basic light curtains. Blanking lets you mask fixed obstructions (e.g., a fixture post) in the field; muting temporarily suspends the safety output during a material pass, typically triggered by external sensors. Both are configured via the controller or a teach pendant, not through DIP switches on the body.
