The Omron F3SG-4SRA0680-14-F is a Type 4 safety light curtain from the F3SG-SR series, built for finger detection with a 14mm detection capability. Its 680mm protective height and 67 beams at 10mm pitch cover access openings on assembly stations, pick-and-place cells, or palletizers. The operating range spans 0.3m to 10.0m, so it fits both compact workcells and longer conveyor entries. Rated IP65/IP67/IP67G with oil resistance and water resistance, so it holds up in washdown zones or machining areas with coolant mist. The IP67G rating adds protection against oil ingress, which matters for automotive or hydraulic press environments. Built-in blanking and muting functions let you configure fixed or floating blanking for workpieces that pass through the field, and muting for automated guided vehicles or conveyor pallets without triggering a stop. That saves wiring external bypass relays.
