The Omron F3SG-4SRA2000-14 is a type-4 safety light curtain from the F3SG-SR series, rated for finger detection with a 14mm detection capability. That means it catches fingers reaching into the hazard zone — finger-protection class per IEC 61496-1 — so it goes on press brakes, assembly stations, or any point-of-operation guard where a hand could reach through. The 2000mm protective height and 0.3m to 10.0m operating range cover a full-sized machine opening; you can mount the emitter and receiver up to ten meters apart and still get reliable coverage.
Runs on 24 VDC supply — standard for safety circuits, no special power rail needed. The 199 beams at 10mm pitch give the 2000mm protective height with no blind zones between beams. IP65/IP67/IP67G means the sensor body and optics withstand washdown — suitable for food-and-bev lines where oil and water spray are routine.
