The Omron F3SG-4SRA2080-25 is a type-4 safety light curtain from the F3SG-SR series, rated for hand protection with a 25 mm detection capability. Its 104 beams at 20 mm pitch create a 2080 mm protective height, covering the full reach zone for standing operators. The 0.3 m to 20.0 m operating range gives flexibility for both compact machines and longer access areas. Supply is 24 VDC, and the enclosure carries IP65/IP67/IP67G — dust-tight, waterproof, and oil-resistant, so it holds up on washdown lines or in cutting-fluid mist. The -30°C to 55°C operating temperature covers most factory-floor environments without derating. Built-in blanking and muting functions simplify integration: blanking lets you mask fixed obstructions (brackets, chutes) within the field, and muting suspends the safety output during material pass-through without a separate bypass module. That keeps the safety circuit clean and reduces wiring.
