The 25 mm detection capability means a 25 mm diameter object (roughly a hand or finger) will be reliably detected anywhere in the field. That places it in the hand-protection class, not finger (14 mm) or body (50+ mm). The 800 mm protective height is the actual sensing zone; pair it with a transmitter and receiver of matching height to cover the opening. The 20 mm beam pitch and 40 beams give a dense curtain — good for applications where smaller gaps need to be caught, like assembly stations with reaching hazards. The 0.3 m minimum range means the curtain can be mounted close to the hazard, saving floor space. The 20 m maximum covers long perimeters on conveyor lines or gantry cells. The F3SG-4SRB0800-25 supports blanking and muting functions, which allow the curtain to ignore fixed obstructions (blanking) or temporarily suspend detection during a material pass (muting). These are configured via the controller or teach-in, not hardwired. The 24 VDC supply is standard for safety circuits; verify the controller's output switching capacity if driving a safety relay or safety PLC input directly.
