The 20 mm beam pitch and 76 beams deliver a protective height of 1520 mm, covering a vertical zone from 0.3 m to 20.0 m operating range.
The 25 mm detection capability means the curtain resolves a 25 mm object anywhere in the field — that is the finger/hand boundary per IEC 61496-2. For a machine with a hand-entry hazard zone, this is the spec that decides whether the light curtain is fast enough to stop before the operator reaches the pinch point. The 20 mm beam pitch is the spacing between adjacent optical axes; tighter pitch gives better resolution but more beams to align. At 76 beams over 1520 mm, the math checks out: (76 − 1) × 20 mm = 1500 mm plus edge margins. The 0.3 m minimum operating range means the curtain needs at least 300 mm clearance from the emitter to the receiver — anything closer and the optics can't focus. The 20.0 m maximum range covers most cell perimeters; if your machine envelope exceeds 20 m, you need a different model.
The IP65/IP67/IP67G rating covers washdown environments — oil-resistant seals and waterproof construction. Operating temperature range is −30 °C to 55 °C. The 24 VDC supply is standard for safety controllers.
