What this light curtain is and what it guards
Its 30 mm detection capability is standard for hand/arm safeguarding. With a 520 mm protective height and 21 beams at 25 mm pitch, it covers a vertical window just over half a meter tall; the 0.2 m to 9.0 m operating range lets you set the sensor pair anywhere from a tight machine opening out to a nine-meter wide aisle guard.
The 24 VDC supply is standard for safety circuits. Blanking and muting functions are built in: blanking lets you ignore fixed obstructions (like a part fixture) within the field, and muting temporarily suspends the curtain during a material pass without dropping the safety category.
The 30 mm detection and 520 mm height are the fit-determining specs.
Mounts as a pair of emitter and receiver bars; the 520 mm protective height determines the machine opening or hazard zone it covers. The 25 mm beam pitch gives you 21 beams across that height. Wiring is 24 VDC with standard safety output connections — typically routed to a safety relay or safety PLC input. The IP65 rating means the housings tolerate washdown but the cable entry and connectors need to be properly sealed. Blanking and muting configuration is set via the controller or software, not dip switches on the bar itself.
