What this light curtain is and what it guards
The 20 mm beam pitch and 27 beams give a protective height of 540 mm, covering a vertical zone from 0.2 m to 9.0 m operating range.
Blanking and muting functions are built in. Blanking lets you mask fixed obstructions (like a fixture or conveyor rail) inside the detection zone without disabling the whole curtain — useful on automated assembly lines where a robot arm passes through. Muting temporarily bypasses the safety output during a defined material pass-through, so a pallet can break the beam without stopping the machine. Both are configurable via the controller; no external safety relay needed for basic setups.

Installation notes for the panel builder
Mount the emitter and receiver on rigid brackets. The IP65 housing means no additional enclosure is needed for washdown areas.
