The 15mm beam pitch and 40 beams give it a 605mm protective height, so it guards a vertical zone just over half a meter tall — sized for small machine openings, pick-and-place cells, or conveyor infeed points. Operating range spans 0.2m to 9.0m, which covers most guarding distances from close-in (0.2m minimum) to across a work cell.
Key Features for the Application
Blanking and muting functions are built in. Blanking lets you mask fixed obstructions (like a machine frame) within the light curtain's field without disabling the entire safety zone. Muting temporarily bypasses the curtain when a workpiece or pallet passes through, then automatically re-enables protection — useful for automated guided vehicles or conveyor handoff stations. These features reduce nuisance trips without compromising safety integrity.
