The housing carries an IP65 rating — dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets — which means it handles washdown in food processing or wet machining lines without a secondary enclosure. Supply is 24 VDC, standard for safety circuits. Ambient temperature range is -10°C to 55°C.
Blanking and muting — what they mean on the line
Built-in blanking and muting functions are the key differentiators here. Blanking lets you optically bypass specific beams — useful when a fixture or workpiece must pass through the curtain without tripping the safety output. Muting temporarily suspends the curtain during a material transfer cycle, using external sensors to confirm the interruption is intentional. Both are configurable without an external controller on this series, which simplifies integration into a conveyor or press line.
