Built-in blanking and muting — what that means on the line
This model includes blanking and muting functions. Blanking lets you disable specific beams to allow fixed objects (like a workpiece fixture) to pass through the field without triggering a stop, while the rest of the curtain stays active. Muting temporarily suspends the safety function during a defined material pass-through — common on conveyor infeed/outfeed stations where product needs to enter the guarded zone without stopping the machine. Both features are configured through the controller, not hard-wired, so you can adjust them during commissioning without rewiring.
