Its 55 mm detection capability means it reliably catches a leg or torso entering the field — that's the standard for body detection per IEC 61496, not finger or hand protection. The 2370 mm protective height covers a full doorway or large opening, with 48 beams spaced at 50 mm pitch. Operating range spans 0.2 m to 7.0 m, so it works across a typical machine guard opening or conveyor access point.
Built-in flexibility for production lines
Blanking and muting functions are built in — no separate controller module needed for these common tasks. Blanking lets you block out fixed obstructions (like a conveyor frame) inside the field without disabling the whole curtain. Muting temporarily suspends the safety output when a workpiece passes through on a conveyor, while still protecting personnel. Both are configurable via the controller interface, saving panel space and wiring.
