Relay selection memo
The Omron G2R-2-SNI-AP3 AC230(S) is a general-purpose relay with a DPDT (2 form C) contact arrangement, a 230 VAC coil, and silver cadmium oxide contacts with gold plating for low-level switching. The LED indicator and test button simplify panel troubleshooting and manual override during commissioning.
The DPDT contact set handles two independent circuits per relay, common in interlocking or dual-load control panels. The 230 VAC coil matches standard European and Asian line voltages directly — no separate control transformer needed for the relay itself. Silver cadmium oxide with gold plating carries moderate inductive loads while the gold layer keeps oxidation off the contacts for low-voltage / low-current signals (e.g., PLC inputs).
