Contact ratings and what they mean for the panel
The SPDT contact is rated 6 A at 250V AC resistive and 2.5 A at 250V AC general-use; on the DC side it handles 6 A at 30V resistive and 2 A at 30V general-use. That resistive curve covers heaters, lamps, and solenoid valves — the loads that pull steady inrush. For inductive kicks like contactor coils or small motors, stay inside the 2.5 A AC / 2 A DC general-use numbers. The 0.7 VA coil draw is light enough that a 24 VDC PLC output can drive it through a simple interposing relay if needed.
Panel fit and approvals
The relay body is 0.24 in wide — that's about six millimeters — so it packs tight on a DIN rail without wasting panel space. Depth is 3.46 in, height 3.54 in. IP20 means finger-safe terminals but no washdown protection; keep it inside the enclosure. UL listed under File No. E41515, so it passes the North American panel inspection without a fight.
