What this SSR delivers — and what it needs
The Omron G3NA-610B-AC100-240 is a single-phase AC-output solid state relay from the G3NA series, switching loads up to 10 A when mounted on a heat sink — without one, derate to 4 A. That 10 A figure is the real-world working limit; the 4 A no-heatsink rating tells you this part expects a thermal interface for any sustained load above a few amps. Input side takes 100 to 240 VAC, output side handles 400 to 600 VAC, and the zero-crossing switching means it turns on near the voltage zero — good for resistive heater banks and lamp loads where you want to minimize inrush, but not for phase-angle control or soft-start applications. The photocoupler isolation provides galvanic separation between control and load circuits, with insulation resistance rated at 100 megaohm. Finger-safe construction means the screw terminals are recessed enough to meet touch-safe requirements — one less thing to guard in a panel build.
Approvals include CE, CSA, and UL listing, covering the major North American and European regulatory jurisdictions.
Surface-mount style with screw terminals — no DIN-rail clip, so plan for a panel or chassis plate. Body dimensions: 2.28 in deep, 1.69 in wide, 1.18 in tall. The beige case and LED indicator give a quick visual on output state. Heat sink not included — order one separately if your load exceeds 4 A continuous.
