The Omron G3NA-625B-DC5-24 is a solid-state relay from the G3NA Series, switching AC loads up to 25 A when mounted on an appropriately sized heatsink — without a heatsink, the maximum output current derates to 4 A, so the heatsink decision is integral to the rating, not optional. Input is 5 to 24 V DC, drawing 17.4 to 35 mA, and the output switches 400 to 600 V AC via a photocoupler with zero-crossing turn-on, which reduces inrush current into capacitive or resistive loads. The relay carries CE, CSA, and UL marks, so it is accepted across North American and European regulatory jurisdictions without additional certification work.
Surface-mount footprint, screw terminals for 0.2–2.5 mm² conductors — strip length to 8 mm avoids whiskers under the clamp. Finger-safe construction (no exposed live parts at the terminals) and a red LED indicator for coil status simplify panel walk-downs. Ambient temperature range from -22 °F to 176 °F; insulation resistance 100 MΩ minimum.
