The Omron G3PB-525B-2N-VD is a three-phase solid state contactor rated for 25 A continuous load current across a 200 to 480 VAC main circuit voltage. The built-in heat sink and DIN track mounting (N-type) simplify panel integration — no external heatsink to size or separate bracket to fabricate.
The 25 A rating is the continuous resistive load current (AC-1 class). For a three-phase heater bank at 480 V line-to-line, that works out to roughly 20.7 kW max heater capacity — the spec you use when sizing for a resistance-heat application. The 2-element switching topology means the SSR switches two phases; the third phase passes through a direct connection, which is standard for three-phase resistive loads and reduces internal dissipation. Leakage current is 20 mA at 480 VAC — important if the downstream load is a low-impedance indicator or a control transformer that might hold in from leakage alone. Off-state isolation is confirmed by the 2,500 VAC dielectric strength test and 100 MΩ minimum insulation resistance at 500 VDC. Operating ambient temperature spans –30°C to 80°C, which covers most industrial enclosure environments without derating for heat rise from adjacent components. The 294 m/s² shock resistance (98 m/s² reverse-mounted) and 10–55 Hz vibration resistance are specified for DIN-rail mounting — the part stays latched under normal machine vibration.
