The Omron G3PE-245B-2N is a 3-phase solid state relay for heater control, rated for 45 A load current at 40 °C and 100-240 VAC output. It switches resistive heater loads up to 15.5 kW at 200 VAC. The input accepts 12-24 VDC (operating range 9.6-30 VDC), drawing 10 mA max at 24 VDC. Phototriac isolation and zero-cross switching minimize electrical noise and inrush on the line side.
The minimum load current of 0.5 A means the SSR will not reliably switch very small loads — keep that in mind if you are controlling a fractional heater. Inrush current resistivity of 440 A (60 Hz, 1 cycle) and permissible I²t of 1260 A²s tell you the SSR can handle the cold-resistance surge of a heater bank without welding the output triac. The zero-cross function turns on the output only when the AC sine wave crosses zero, which cuts radiated EMI and reduces stress on the heater elements.
