The Omron G6H-2-DC5 is a DPDT signal relay with a 5 VDC coil, rated for 1 A maximum contact current. It switches AC loads up to 125 V or DC loads up to 30 V. The monostable design means the contacts return to their de-energized position when coil power is removed — a standard fail-safe behavior for control logic.
The 1 A contact rating is the maximum switched current, not a continuous carry rating — derate if switching into a highly inductive load without suppression. The 5 VDC coil is a standard logic-level voltage, compatible with 5 V TTL or microcontroller outputs, provided the drive source can source the coil current. DPDT gives you two independent Form C contact sets, useful for reversing small motors or switching two separate signal paths with one relay.
