The Omron G7J-2A2B-B-W1-AC100/120 is an enclosed power relay from the G7J Series, designed for high-current switching in industrial control panels. It carries a 25 A continuous current rating and a contact arrangement of one DPST-NC and one DPST-NO, giving you both normally-closed and normally-open poles in a single package. The 100/120V AC coil is powered from standard line voltage, and the relay mounts via bracket with 10 screw terminals for field wiring.
Contact ratings and motor load capability
The NO contacts are rated 25 A at both 240V AC and 30V DC — that's the full continuous rating. The NC contacts carry 8 A at 240V AC and 8 A at 30V DC, so if you're using the NC pole for a holding circuit or safety interlock, keep the load under that lower limit. For motor loads, the relay is rated 1-1/2 hp at 120V AC and 3 hp at 240V AC, which covers fractional-horsepower pumps, fans, and conveyor drives up to that size.
This part is in a mature lifecycle stage — still available through independent distribution channels, but not actively promoted for new designs.
Dielectric isolation and durability
Dielectric strength is 4,000V AC between coil and contacts, and 2,000V AC between contacts of the same polarity — solid isolation for line-voltage switching. Electrical durability is rated at 100,000 operations, mechanical durability at 1,000,000 operations. The manual push-to-test button lets you verify contact closure during commissioning without energizing the coil.
Panel integration
Bracket mounting with screw terminals — this is a panel-mount relay, not a socketed one. The 10 terminals accept field wiring directly, so plan for a dedicated mounting plate or sub-panel in your enclosure. The enclosed sealing means the contact chamber is protected from dust and incidental contact, suitable for general-purpose industrial environments.
