What this safety interlock controller does
The Omron G9SX-NS202-RC DC24 is a magnetic interlock controller from the G9SX series, designed to monitor guard-door position and enable machine-safe power removal. It accepts 2 digital inputs and drives 2 solid-state safety outputs plus 2 solid-state auxiliary outputs, all rated for Category 3, PLd — enough for most guard-door and e-stop chains on conveyor lines or crusher access gates. Powered by 24VDC and housed in a DIN-rail mount package with spring terminals, it operates from -10°C to 55°C. The logical AND I/O feature lets you cascade multiple units without extra relays — handy when chaining several guard doors on a single safety circuit. Approvals include CE, CSA, cULus, SUD, TUV, and UL, covering most global panel standards.
