What it is and what it fits
The Omron GRT1-OD8-1 is a SmartSlice output module packing 8 solid state outputs on a 24 VDC rail, designed for CJ, CS, and NJ series PLCs. Screw terminals and DIN rail mount make it a straightforward field swap — no special tooling needed.
Field-fit notes
Rated for -10°C to 55°C ambient with IP20 enclosure — fine inside a ventilated panel, but keep it away from washdown zones. The 24 VDC supply rail is shared with the SmartSlice bus, so watch the total current draw if you're stacking multiple slices. Mounts on standard DIN rail, wiring with a screwdriver you've already got in the van.
