Off-Delay Timer for 100–125 VDC Control Circuits
The Omron H3CR-HRL DC100-125 S is a socketable off-delay time delay relay from the H3CR-H series, designed for applications where the load must remain energized for a set period after the control signal is removed. Its 100–125 VDC supply range suits DC control panels common in industrial process lines, including tire curing presses where steam valves need a timed close sequence after the press cycle ends. The DPDT (2 Form C) output switches 5 A at 250 VAC, enough for pilot lights, solenoid valves, or small contactor coils. The 0.05–12 second delay range is set via a hand dial on the front face, allowing on-the-fly adjustment without removing the relay from its 11-pin octal socket.
Integration Notes
Socketable mounting via an 11-pin octal base (sold separately) means the relay can be swapped without disturbing wiring — useful for MRO spares on a panel where downtime is measured in minutes. The plug-in termination accepts standard octal relay sockets, keeping the footprint consistent with other H3CR-H family timers. Timing is initiated by applying input voltage; removal of voltage starts the off-delay period. The mechanical relay output provides galvanic isolation between coil and contacts, which matters when the timer shares a control cabinet with inductive loads like contactors or motor starters.
