Series identity and timing function
The Omron H3Y-2 AC100-120 10M sits in the H3Y series of plug-in time-delay relays, with a DPDT (2 Form C) contact set rated 5 A at 250 VAC, and a dial-adjustable delay window of 0.5 min to 10 min driven off input-voltage initiation. Function selection covers both off-delay and on-delay in the same module, so the same socket position can be reused for drop-out delay on a coil-hold circuit or pickup delay on a sequencing rung without rewiring. Setpoint is by hand dial — no programming terminal needed, which is why these stay in service on retrofit panels where a tech just turns the knob during commissioning.
Panel-side mounting and termination
Socketable body with plug-in termination mates to the standard 11-pin octal-style timer socket, so a failed unit pulls straight out and a replacement drops in without disturbing the wiring — useful on lines where the bin of spares is the actual repair path. Bulk packaging suits the kanban-style two-bin replenishment the VMI desk runs on: order in multiples of the standard pack, scan the receipt, the bin tops up without a manual PO trigger.
