Panel-mount programmable timer relay
The Omron H5CX-AD-N AC24/DC12-24 is a programmable multi-function timer relay from the H5CX series, panel-mounted with screw terminals. It accepts dual supply voltage — 24 VAC or 12 to 24 VDC — and switches a single SPDT (1 Form C) mechanical relay contact rated at 5 A at 250 VAC. The timing range spans 0.001 seconds to 9999 hours, set via up/down digit keys on the front face.
The 5 A / 250 VAC SPDT contact handles most pilot-duty loads — contactors, small solenoid valves, indicator lamps — but not motor inrush directly. The 0.001 s to 9999 h range covers everything from fast pulse delays to multi-day process timers; the digit-key adjustment gives repeatable setpoints without a trim pot. Dual AC/DC supply simplifies panel wiring when both voltage types are present, and the panel-mount form factor with screw terminals matches existing cutouts and termination practices in control enclosures.
