The Omron H7CZ-L8D1 is a 1-stage preset digital counter built for panel-mount counting jobs — production line piece counts, length measurement, or event tallying where you need a single setpoint with relay or transistor output. It accepts 24 VAC 50/60 Hz or 12 to 24 VDC, with a maximum counting speed switchable between 30 Hz and 10 kHz (ON/OFF ratio 1:1). Input mode is Increment or Decrement; output mode offers N, F, C, R, K-1, P, Q, and A — the full Omron H7CZ menu for batch control, one-shot, or continuous output. Prescaling (0.001 to 99.999) and decimal point adjustment on the rightmost three digits let you display engineering units directly.
Mounts flush or surface — the same unit handles both, so no adapter plate needed. External connections via an 8-pin socket (not included). Sensor waiting time is 290 ms max, meaning the counter ignores the count input for that period after reset; plan your sensor timing accordingly if you're counting fast parts. Reset options: external signal (minimum pulse width 1 ms or 20 ms, selectable via internal jumper), manual front-panel reset, or automatic reset on power-up. One-shot output time is adjustable from 0.01 to 99.99 s. Operating humidity 25% to 85%; storage temperature -25 to 70 °C.
