What it is and what it does
The J7KCA-40 DC60 is an auxiliary contact relay designed as a snap-on accessory for the J7KC contactor series. It provides a 4PST-4NO contact configuration, meaning four normally open poles that close when the coil is energized. The DC60 coil rating means it operates on a 60 VDC control circuit — verify your panel's control voltage matches before specifying, as a 24 VDC or 48 VDC bus won't pull this one in reliably.
Integration note
Mounts directly onto the J7KC contactor via the snap-on mechanism — no tools needed, no additional wiring between the contactor and the auxiliary block. The 4PST-4NO contacts are electrically isolated from the coil, so you can wire them into separate control circuits or safety chains without cross-talk. Spring-cage terminals accept 0.2–2.5 mm² solid or ferruled stranded; strip length of 8 mm avoids whiskers under the cage.
