22 A AC-3 motor switching with 400 V coil
The Omron J7KN22D10400 is a 3-pole contactor rated for 22 A AC-3 switching current at 690 V AC, making it suitable for motor loads up to 11 kW per the datasheet specification. The 400 V AC coil voltage matches standard European industrial control circuits; the contactor pulls in reliably at 85–110 % of rated coil voltage per IEC 60947-4-1.
Mounting and termination options
Screw terminals accept up to 4 mm² stranded or solid copper wire; the clamping torque is specified at 1.2 Nm for the power circuit and 0.6 Nm for the auxiliary contact.
Built-in auxiliary and DC switching capability
A factory-fitted 1NO auxiliary contact is integrated into the front face, eliminating the need for a separate side-mount block for basic feedback or interlock wiring. Rated for DC switching at 2.5 A / 220 V DC, which covers small DC brake coils or indicator loads without an additional DC-rated relay.
