Panel fit and input compatibility
The Omron K3GN-NDC 24VDC is a panel-mount process meter accepting 4-20mA or ±10VDC analog signals, displayed across 5 digits on a dual-color LCD backlight. This covers the standard transmitter outputs for pressure, flow, or temperature loops. The 24VDC supply rail is common in control cabinets, and the screw terminals keep wiring straightforward for a panel builder. The IP66 front-panel rating means the meter face withstands washdown and dust ingress when properly gasketed into the panel cutout (45.00mm x 22.20mm rectangular). This is a practical choice for food-and-bev or pharmaceutical lines where hose-down cleaning is routine.
Outputs and control logic
Two relay outputs are onboard, letting the meter act as a simple process controller — triggering an alarm, a valve, or a pump start when the measured value crosses a setpoint. No external comparator or PLC input is needed for basic on/off control. The dual-color LCD (red/green) can be configured to change color at a threshold, giving operators a quick visual status without reading the numeric value. This speeds fault recognition on a multi-panel line.
