The Omron K3GN-PDT2-FLK DC24 is a panel-mount process meter from the K3GN series, designed to display and monitor analog process signals. It accepts 4-20 mA or ±10 VDC inputs and shows the value on a 5-digit, dual-color LCD with backlight. Three solid-state outputs give you local control or alarm capability, and the serial communications output lets the meter talk to a PLC or SCADA system without an extra converter. It runs on a 24 VDC supply and terminates through screw terminals — standard for panel wiring.
Where you'd use it
This is a process indicator for a control panel face. The IP66-rated front means it handles washdown or dusty environments — think food processing skids, water treatment panels, or packaging lines where the enclosure gets hosed down. The rectangular cutout (45.00 mm x 22.20 mm) is a common footprint, so it retrofits into existing panel openings without rework.
The 4-20 mA / ±10 VDC input range covers the two most common analog process signals — pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature transducers. If your sensor outputs one of these, this meter reads it directly without a signal conditioner. Three solid-state outputs mean you can set high/low alarms or a retransmission signal. They switch faster and last longer than mechanical relays in cyclic alarm applications. The dual-color LCD backlight can be configured to change color on alarm — a quick visual cue on the panel door without reading the digits.
