What this meter is and what it measures
The Omron K3HB-XVA 100-240VAC is a panel-mount process meter from the K3HB-X series, designed to display a process variable scaled from a 0 ~ 400VAC input. It is not a general-purpose voltmeter; the 0-400VAC range is the measurement input, not the supply. The supply is 100 ~ 240VAC, so the meter powers itself from line voltage and reads a separate process signal within that voltage window. The dual-color LCD backlight and dual 5-character rows (0.560" and 0.192" character heights) let you display the measured value and a tag or unit label simultaneously. The IP66-rated front panel means the meter face is dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water — suitable for panel doors in washdown areas or humid environments, though the rear terminals are not sealed.
Panel fit and mounting
The panel cutout is rectangular at 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm, a standard 1/8 DIN footprint. The meter secures with the included mounting bracket; screw terminals on the rear accept solid or stranded wire for the supply and input connections. Operating temperature range is -10°C to 55°C, so it lives inside a climate-controlled enclosure or a heated panel — not outdoors in freezing conditions.
