Panel fit and what the ratings mean
The Omron K3HB-XVD 24VAC/VDC is a panel-mount process meter from the K3HB-X series, measuring ±199.99 VDC with a 5+5 digit dual-color LCD display. The 24 VAC/DC supply means it runs off either a control transformer or a DC power supply common in panels — no separate supply variant needed. The IP66 front rating means the display and bezel withstand washdown and dust ingress, so it's suitable for food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines where the panel face gets hosed down. Panel cutout is 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm, a standard rectangular size that fits most operator station cutouts without adapter plates.
Integration notes
Screw-terminal termination on the rear — no special crimp tool needed, just a standard screwdriver. The display shows two rows of characters: the main reading at 0.560" (14.20 mm) height and a second row at 0.192" (4.90 mm) for engineering units or a second process variable. Option cards are available for additional output types (analog retransmission, alarm relays, communications) — the base unit ships with no output card fitted, so factor that into the BOM if you need more than the display alone. Operating range is -10°C to 55°C, which covers most indoor panel environments but not freezer or outdoor direct-sun applications.
