The K3MA-L-C 100-240VAC is a panel-mount temperature meter from Omron's K3MA-L series. It accepts RTD and thermocouple inputs and covers a span from -200°C up to 1800°C, which means it handles everything from cryogenic chillers to furnace exhaust stacks on the same unit — just swap the sensor type in the setup. The display is a dual-color LCD backlit type, showing four characters per row at 0.560" (14.20 mm) height — readable from a few feet back on a catwalk or from the panel door. Output is a relay, so it can drive an alarm horn, a solenoid valve, or a PLC input directly without an interposing relay.
Where this meter belongs
Panel-mount, with a rectangular cutout of 92.00 mm x 45.00 mm. Termination is via screw terminals — no special crimp tool needed, just a #2 Phillips and a torque driver. The front face carries an IP66 rating — dust-tight and protected against hose-down water. That matters if this meter is on a washdown line, a food-processing skid, or anywhere the panel gets sprayed. The IP66 rating means the front seal keeps moisture out of the electronics when the panel door is closed.
Power and environment
Runs on 100 to 240 VAC — universal line voltage, no need for a separate control transformer if the panel already has 120 V or 230 V available.
