What the K8AB-PH1 monitors and how it fits
The K8AB-PH1 is a dedicated phase loss and phase sequence monitor for three-phase supplies. It detects a missing phase or incorrect rotation and drops its output relay to signal the fault. Supply voltage range is 200 to 500 VAC — covers common 208, 240, 400, and 480 V three-phase systems without needing a separate control transformer. Output is a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay rated 6 A at 250 VAC, enough to drive a contactor coil, alarm horn, or PLC input directly. Housings snap onto standard DIN rail — panel integration is straightforward, and the -20°C to 60°C operating range suits most industrial enclosures.
