Supply voltage and what it powers
The Omron K8AB-VW1-AC100/115V is a voltage monitor relay that operates on an AC 100/115 V control supply. That supply voltage powers the internal sensing circuit and the relay coil — the monitored voltage is the same line the relay lives on, so it watches its own supply for excursions outside the set threshold.
