What does the K8AK-AS3 24 AC/DC monitor?
This is a single-phase current relay that monitors either overcurrent or undercurrent conditions on a 1-phase line, using a selectable current transformer input range of 10 to 100 A AC or 20 to 200 A AC. The SPDT relay output switches 5 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC, giving a dry contact for PLC digital inputs or a motor-starter coil circuit.
DIN-rail fit and panel integration
The relay snaps onto standard DIN rail and is powered by 24 VAC/VDC, so it shares the same control bus as most PLC racks and industrial control panels. The case is molded from PC and ABS, which holds up to the usual panel environment but is not rated for washdown — keep it inside the enclosure.
