Voltage sensing for panel protection
The K8AK-VS2 is a single-phase voltage relay that monitors AC or DC voltage levels and trips an SPDT relay when the monitored voltage deviates outside the set point. It covers three operating value ranges — 1–10 V, 3–30 V, and 15–150 V AC/DC — selected via the front-panel dial, so one unit handles low-signal and line-voltage sensing without a separate PT. Power supply is dual-range: 24 VAC/DC or 100–240 VAC, isolated from the measurement input. That means the relay can be wired into a 24 V control panel or a 230 V distribution board without swapping modules.
SPDT output with DIP-switch NO/NC selection
The single SPDT relay output is configured as normally-open or normally-closed via an onboard DIP switch — no rewiring needed to change the fail-safe state. Hysteresis is adjustable from 5% to 50% of the operating value, which prevents relay chatter on a slowly drifting voltage.
