Field service note: What this part covers
The K8AK-VW2 100-240VAC is an adjustable voltage sensing relay that detects both over- and under-voltage conditions on a monitored AC or DC line. Trip range is 1 to 150 V AC/DC, so it handles low-voltage control circuits, battery banks, or small transformer secondaries. The SPDT relay output is rated 5 A at 250 V AC, enough to drive a contactor coil or alarm annunciator. Adjustable delay from 0.1 to 30 seconds lets you ride through momentary dips without cycling the output — critical on a motor feed or PLC supply.
Mounting and wiring
Snaps onto standard DIN rail. Supply voltage is 100 to 240 V AC, so it can share the same rail with contactors or power supplies without a dedicated transformer. Wire the monitored voltage to the sensing input; the trip threshold is set via a front-panel potentiometer (scale printed on the housing). Operating temperature range is –20 to 60 °C, which covers most indoor control cabinets. No forced cooling needed.
