What the range selector means for your line
The K8AK-VW3 24AC/DC is a single-phase voltage relay with a window-type (upper/lower limit) monitoring function — it trips the SPDT relay output when the monitored voltage drifts outside a set band. Three selectable ranges cover 20 to 200 V AC/DC, 30 to 300 V AC/DC, and 60 to 600 V AC/DC, so one part handles everything from 24 V control loops up to 480 V motor circuits without swapping modules. The relay output is rated 5 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC — enough to drive a contactor coil, alarm beacon, or PLC input directly. Supply voltage is 24 VAC/VDC, which matches the common control transformer or DC power supply found in most panels.
DIN-rail fit and panel integration
Snaps onto standard 35 mm DIN rail — no mounting plate or screws needed. The case is molded from PC and ABS, so it holds up in ambient panel temperatures typical of industrial enclosures.
