The K8DS-PZ2 is a slim-line, three-phase voltage and phase relay that monitors 380/400/415/480 VAC three-wire systems. It watches simultaneously for overvoltage, undervoltage, asymmetry, phase loss, and sequence errors — all in a single DIN-rail unit.
Key ratings that drive fit
Rated for 380/400/415/480 VAC supply voltage directly — no external potential transformer needed for most industrial three-phase panels up to 480 V line-to-line. Output is a single-pole double-throw relay rated 5 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC — sufficient to signal a PLC input, drop a contactor coil, or drive an alarm annunciator. Mounts on DIN rail. The slim package fits in tight control cabinets alongside other protective relays.
Use as the primary phase-monitoring relay for motor starters, pump controllers, or transfer switches. Power it directly from the three-phase bus being monitored; the relay output changes state on any fault. Polycarbonate case (PC) provides good dielectric strength and flame resistance for panel mounting alongside power components.
