Omron K8DT-AS3TA is a current sensing relay that sees AC or DC from 10 to 200 A. The NPN solid-state output sinks a load from a separate supply — plan for that; this is not a source output. Adjustable delay from 0.1 to 30 seconds lets you ride through motor inrush without calling a trip, as long as the fault is sustained past that window.
Ratings and fit
Trip range of 10–200 A AC/DC covers everything from a small conveyor motor to a mid-size pump. The 100–240 VAC supply is universal for panel control transformers. Watch the NPN output: it's a sinking transistor; your PLC input or relay coil must pull up to its own supply. Temperature rating –20 to 60 °C is good for most enclosures without active cooling.
