Current sensing relay for over/under monitoring
The K8DT-AW2TA is a current-production current sensing relay from Omron's K8DT series. It monitors AC/DC current from 0.1 to 5 A with an adjustable trip threshold and a delay time of 0.1 to 30 seconds. The NPN solid-state output sinks to a PLC input without extra interface hardware. Supply voltage is 100-240 VAC, so it fits any control panel worldwide. For the storeroom, this is a single SKU that covers a broad range of motor protection and load-monitoring applications. It's active, so no end-of-life worries for your BOM.
Mounting and supply
Mounts on standard DIN rail. The enclosure is compact, leaving room for other components in the gland plate area. Operating temperature range -20°C to 60°C covers most indoor panel environments. No derating for ambient within that range is specified, so treat it as full-rated. The trip range and delay are set via front-panel dials; no programming tool required.
