The Omron K8DT-LS1CA is a constant level controller — it monitors liquid level via a conductive probe and switches a relay when the level crosses the set point. The sensitivity adjustment (10 to 100 kOhm) lets you tune the detection threshold for different liquid conductivity, from distilled water to conductive process fluids. Runs on 100-240VAC supply, so it fits standard panel power without a separate transformer. The SPDT relay contacts are rated 5A at 250VAC — enough to drive a small pump or alarm directly.
Mounting and wiring reality
The 100m max distance between controller and sensor means the probe can sit at the far end of a tank or sump. Built-in delay timer filters out surface slosh or turbulence — the relay doesn't chatter on every wave.
